Cash App direct deposit fiat into bitcoin reliability and questions?

Bitcoin Reddit

I've heard that you can have your paycheck or portion of paycheck sent to Cash App as a direct deposit that will be in bitcoin, but I read in this thread ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/16un1bb/cash_app_direct_deposit_bitcoin ) that it is unreliable.

Is that still the case? Also, is there a browser option or app only?

I'm interested in doing DCA and periodically putting into cold storage on hardware wallet, is Cash App a good option?

I'm also concerned about how I minimize and consolidate UTXOs.

Also, is it only from paychecks to get the ZERO fee/spread or can ACHs/wire transfers from my checking account also qualify?
