I don't use my Coinbase account a lot, but I do go in now and then and check on things and add a few bucks to my account.
Yesterday I tried to log in and first it wants to confirm my email, OK, fine. Then it wants to verify my phone, OK, but it still wouldn't let me log in. The next thing I know I am facing an entire new verification process.
They of course say they have a responsibility to verify, but that was done before and having reconfirmed three things, they should not be hassling me.
- Why would the previous verification be suddenly invalid?
- Why not tell us that we would need to re-verify before we try to make a transaction and can't?
I don't want to and shouldn't have to re-verify. Now they are holding my funds hostage.
My banks don't make me go through this, why these guys? What makes them special? Why can't they retain and use my verification info? Why isn't reconfirming my social, email, and phone enough?
I just want to remove my funds and I can't.
