Easiest way to convert incoming money into cryptocurrency?

I want to start creating and selling freelance content to make some money on the side. But due to the state of the U.S. and where it's going (combined with the efforts of Mastercard and other puritan higher-ups at play), I'm starting to worry if there'll even be an opportunity to make money in this field soon. I want a safe, decentralized wallet -- one that big money can't interfere in, close the account at a whim, " 'I consent!' 'I consent!' 'I don't!' " You get what I mean.

The problem is, I get the feeling it'll be a hard sell to any customers to literally open up a crypto wallet, send a mentioned amount through said wallet, and try not to think of how absolutely fucking fishy that is! So, I'm turning to you all for help: is there any functions or systems in place for turning any incoming payments towards a 'legitimate' account (say paypal), turn it into a cryptocurrency *then* sending straight to my cryptocurrency wallet? If not, would it be particularly difficult to do so?
