It was an incredible era to be part of the space—we were transitioning from GPU mining to the first generation of ASICs like Avalon and FriedCat (烤猫). In the thread, you can see legendary Bitcointalk moderators like John K. joining the discussion and early mining projects like ASICME checking in. Looking back from 2026, it’s wild to see how much the ecosystem has matured.
