I want to create a 2 of 3 multisig wallet.
I have 3 hardware wallets, and each has a different 24 word seed phrase.
Let's say I use Electrum to create a 2 of 3 multisig wallet.
Two questions:
1: How much time do I have to get all three keys to sign a transaction?
2: What do I need to know about restoring the multisig wallet? I assume the only thing that matters is that I have the original 3 seed phrases, and I restore each seed with the same format as before (native segwit) in order to have the same key used to originally set up the multisig wallet. Is that right? When restoring a multisig wallet, do the 3 keys need to be added in the same order as the first time, or is the order irrelevant so long as I have all three (for a 2 of 3 multisig wallet)?
What issues do I need to be aware of in order to make sure I do this right?
I've never done multisig before. I've had hardware wallets using seed+passphrases for the past few years. I'll definitely test my multisig setup thoroughly before sending more than a few sats to it
