I want to preface this by saying that if you sold already, I hope it brought you fortune, happines or both. I really endorse taking profits, and selling 25% is not even punished via karma modifier.
This is however a post to list the reasons why I did not and maybe you should not yet sell. Not financial advice - if it makes sense to sell in your current situation, I'm no prophet to tell you you shouldn't.
Facts which drove the price up:
- Change to Reddit's TOS regarding community points - these now have intrinsic value and should be regarded as a means of monetary transaction or a store of value
- Recent listing on a major exchange - CDC went through with the listing yesterday
- Hype - whenever a mid-cap token shoots up 400%, there's going to be traction, especially if that's visible on an exchange
The most important message from this is - it's not by any chance over. According to coinranking website, CDC has a mere 0.23% market share. This is not only relevant because of easy access to spot trading, but also because of visibility. I don't see a reason, why exchanges such as Kraken or Coinbase would not follow through with their listings. These two exchanges combined account for 10-15x higher market share. That drives visibility, which is the most important factor in hype and price action.
For this reason, I am not selling at this price point. I am by no means a fanatic HODLer, if the price reaches a point where it makes sense for me to sell, I will sell 100% and spend the rest of my days as non-profitable contributor to this sub.
tl;dr: not selling, $10 is not a meme, brrr
