The majority of us long-term holders not being in profit is actually a rarity, most of the times even up to 90% of long-term holders are in profit. Being a long-term holder is indeed a safe way to profits.

Undoubtedly we are all here for the profits, we all want to see our portfolios in green even if we are not planning to take those profits, it is from the perspective psychology always better for us to be able to take profits once we need it. What is the best way though to reach those profits?

Some may say to Daytrade is a good option to make profits quick, but we all know that this could go very wrong very quickly. So the safest option without a doubt is to literally just hold your assets for a longer time, making you a long-term holder. Theoretically anyone that holds for over 6 months is seen as a long-term holder and being a long-term holders has historically been very profitable.

Also as a long-term holder you do not have to fear about being out of profit for most of the times. As we can see on this chart, the occasions where under 60% of long-term holders are at profits is very rare and only happens during the very formation of the bottom.

For the whole bull run over 90% of long-term holders are always in profit so nearly everyone of us here, leaving plenty of time to take any profits if needed.
