Why bragging about Bitcoin profits backfires every time

Been thinking about this lately - whenever someone mentions how much they've made from Bitcoin, it usually just pisses people off instead of getting them interested

Like when you tell someone you're up big, they don't think "wow what a smart move" they think "great, another thing I screwed up by not getting in earlier"

Then instead of wanting to learn more they just write the whole thing off as a scam or bubble or whatever

I've seen it happen so many times now. The louder someone gets about their portfolio gains, the more people around them start hating on crypto in general. It's not even about whether Bitcoin is good or bad at that point, it's just human nature getting in the way

Probably better to just keep your mouth shut and let your actions speak for themselves
