Why would you need usecases if one guy replacing Twitter or any other social media's logo with coin logo achieve much more? People underestimate power of marketing and hype.

There are good projects out there and there are popular and hyped projects. Good projects works on usecases no one use, cause they lack pupularity and hype, popular projects get usecases for free cause that's how world works. If you are popular actor you get hired to do movies, ads and be guest in reality shows. It never was about quality, just about being more popular.

Same woth crypto, there are tens good projects that are forgotten, cause they have nothing that makes them popular; and there are projects like doge that are popular caysr they are popular. You can work year or two on multiple solid usecases, but can it outbig replacing Twitter logo for even a little while? I am not Doge fanboy by any means, I just try to make a point, that in modern world quality not always guarantee success. Not best musicans are popular, rather pop singers or rappers. Not best clothes brands or shoe brands are popular, popular in Nike cause they now how to make their shoes desirable and sell them for $200 even if they produced them in bangladeshi factory for $20 or $30.

Simmilar in crypto, most projects are good if they are popular. BTC or ETH are not only good cause they are good quality. BTC and ETH are huge brands, faith of people and opinions about them give them power. Without faith in them they would be worth less. Still they are good for long term, which most coins out there don't have. Most coins will get their 5 minutes of glory that we could use to make profit, but like most actors they will be forgotten in few years. It is not even their fault, very hard to stay on top for years. Will Doge stay? Most likely. Even if current price pump is temporary it is small part of bigger picture, coins like Doge get usecases cause of their popularity. And it will be mass adopted simply just cause companies are greedy and care about profit. CEOs of big companies will chose to use popular coins like Doge, ETH or Doge or those that will pay them to do so. No one will chose niche good coins, cause it won't be profitable for companies.
